It's been really, really quiet in here!
I can assume vacations are filling up the void?
For me, we had a round of layoffs. I survived the cut but now have the workload of another added on to me. Needless to say, I'm busy.
While a smoking break might sound like a nostalgic comfort, it wouldn't help a single bit.
How be you smokeless others? Enjoying the summer?

Hi Don, glad you've still got a job. Scary times.
I'm ready for Autumn....at least 80 degree temps. Hit 103 + humid the other day. I could do the backstroke to the mailbox. Golly, I'm ready for some bone-chilling cold!
Semi-retired now, I've become a house-husband. Do you realize how good whole wheat w/P & J sandwiches are for supper. Ummmm. More coffee anyone?

I am still around and smoke free and grateful! Always nice to see people still here regardless of vacations, etc. My son turned 15 years old today and I was thinking how grateful I am to be smoke free and healthy enough to enjoy it with him. Life is good!

Good morning everyone! Yes, it has been quiet around here and I'm glad to see some life come back in! Don! That is scary isn't it! Do you think that quitting smoking improved your game and thus was a contributing factor in keeping your job? And that the improved health will also be a contributing factor in your doing a great job with the new set up? I think so.
Jimpops! Gosh, semi-retired. How nice is that...yes, I'm with you Karen...the passage of time...I was at one time the youngest at the office and now ... sheesh... It really helps that I no longer smoke though. The added energy and the discipline gained from the journey has really helped.
Stay smoke-free and well everyone.

Well, look who's here to say hello and answer the roll call! Me!
It sounds like all of you are doing ok. I do miss this group, and wish there was more participation, or more here to keep my mind off of smoking. I go on Quitstop often, but it's just soooo crowded that I feel lost.
