How about that...November already!
Spent last week taking a fishing vacation but with that major storm that rolled thru it was more like taking a wind tunnel test than fishing. Couldn't leave all work behind and did a few work things from the boat and camp.
Second hand smoke may be bad...but one thing that kind of irks me off is seeing the cigarette ember burns in the carpet of my boat where my smoking friend was. He probably didn't realize it, but his smoking does impact others.
I see it's been quiet around here. Busy people, busy lives...smokeless lives.
Carry on you smokeless wonders!

Good morning everyone! I thought I had checked in but that was last week! Gosh, where does the time go! My boss quit and his last day was this Monday so it has been non-stop for the last while amidst sadness. Well, you can't stop progress and you can't hold people back. We will remain in contact as we have become good friends so the parting is not so bad. I find since my dad passed away in August that it has been one loss after another. My boss, my bus commute buddy got a new job so he will be commuting at different times, my neighbour of two years has moved out. Lots of change for me. I suppose practise makes perfect. I hate change so I've had to re-think that one and now while watching the construction go on in front of my place by the City, instead of bemoaning the ruckus or the loss of the old way, I'm actually excited to see what new and exciting thing will come of it. I go forward with a bit of a crack in the heart for the loss but with hope and good cheer welcome the new.
Gosh, do I sound like a poster or what! Well, blame that on my quitting smoking. All this new energy and attitude came about since I quit smoking. It's given me a new lease on life and I am ever so grateful for it each and every day. I would not have been able to get through all the changes had I still been smoking.
So, keep the quit everyone and never take it for granted.
