Another week rolls again!
Some of you already have been given a "blessing" of the white stuff. Brrrrr!
Soon the season will torment those huddled outside for their fix.
The new year is fast approaching. Another opportunity for smokelessness. Grab hold and hang on!!

Good morning all! Did they skip a month this year? I'm sure of it because it can't be November already! My Gawd! I was still getting used to October and I was told it was already November and half way through at that!
Had a big wind storm last night and it poured too. Today is a pause between fronts. Nice out, sunny. Make hay while you can! Tomorrow, a new front comes in bringing rain and colder weather. Some on the higher elevations and interiors are already snowing.
What about that explosion in Mexico hmm? Gosh.
Well, you're right Don. Nice to not have to huddle outside in this type of weather.
Stay smokefree everyone!

All i can say is thank God i was able to quit when i did.....it is such a nasty addiction. With all of your help I was able to break free....Thank you!

Slim I have see signs where some places they cost more. I'm glad I don't smoke but every once in awhile I get the urge and tell hubby that I'm going to start again. He doesn't say much of anything. He still smokes and I thought maybe he would have quit by now since it's been almost 3 years for me. I don't nag him either. Cold outside too and I wouldn't want to be out thee smoking.

Country...I want you to repeat to yourself..."3 years for me" I remember how much you had to work for this and yet I've forgotten the time that has gone by. Way to go!

thank you Don for your words of support. I stopped and thought about what I went thru when I quit and don't want to go thru that again. I will repeat that everyday.

Thanks Slim for your kind words and a reminder of what I went thru and my health isn't the greatest. That's 1 of the reasons I come here. I'm not the only 1 who had to go thru the hard process of quitting. I repeated the words "3 years for me"

I'm here too, for the umpteenth time. Reckon I"ll ever get a two-year quit to stick like I used to? It's strange, I know exactly how to quit (done so several times) and without a terrible struggle. But it's sooooo easy for me to start again, and for no reason. I just say I want to smoke and go buy them. Isn't that the stupidist thing? I think I"m getting senile in my old age, and forget how good it is to be a non-smoker.
Take care, everyone, and have a Happy Thanksgiving. Dot

Congratulations Country! I remember how hard it was for you and with a spouse who smokes! Wow! I don't know if I would have been able to do it. Keep it up!
And Dot! You know the saying, Never Quit Quitting! That's the secret.
I guess that applies to all of us doensn't it. Never quit quitting.
Well, unseasonable Arctic front moved in to our area. The Seattle area got the worst of it but we are freezing here in Vancouver. The snow starts tonight - a mix of snow and rain - who can tell how that will be...I've got my warrior boots on anyhow and an umbrella.
