Slowly getting rid of the cold bug I got as a extra Christmas gift. Makes one appreciate their (smokeless) lungs. Remember that smoker's cough? Those were the days. This cold and that cough will soon be history again.
btw, oranges are cheaper to buy than cigarettes and I need vitamin C more than I need poison N.

Well, guess who is here again, for the umpteenth time! It's so hard to believe I quit first on the old just4u board, at least 10+ years ago. The first quit lasted 2 1/2 years, thanks to the great group that was here then. Then I'va also had another 2 or three long dry spells...1 or 1 1/2 years. It would be so nice if this group was still as active as it once was, and I appreciate those of you who have stayed around to be helpful and keep it alive. I've often thought of emailing all the old people to check in and have a "reunion" on a certain day! Happy New Year, and Peace to all Dot Four days, 8 hours, 40 minutes and 4 seconds. 174 cigarettes not smoked, saving $28.35. Life saved: 14 hours, 30 minutes.

Hi guys, good to see you again Dot. I'm glad you're still trying.
A funny weather time .. 3 snows in Dec when we usually don't get much of anything. Now another storm due to hit on Monday. OK, I'm a house husband, I'm not going anywhere.
NO thoughts about smoking, except when someone lights up under my nose! How in the world did I Manage to suck that junk into my lungs? Yuck.
Happy New Year, hope it's a good one with less bills & more money.
