How about that, another week comes around and another week without a cig hanging out of the mouth.
Sure gets quiet around here. I guess that's a good sign. that means people are getting on in their lives instead of being perpetually tortured by an addiction.
Life is busy on my end. Both kids are entering the teen/tween years. Hey Slim how are you handling the kids?? Yours are about the same as mine with the genders mixed.
I would go crazy but believe it or not there is already a line for that and I got to take a number.
Oh well. I gave up smoking, not beer. I'll leave that vice for another board and another time.
Chime in people! Be proud of your QuitTime!!

Hi Don! Checking in. You're right. I am much more confident with my quit. I was at my niece's wedding last Saturday and there were a few smokers around and I had no intention of going back to that nightmare. I am so much better off since I quit smoking. I am healthier, physically, mentally and emotionally. It has improved my life a hundred fold. It is a wonderful thing not smoking. I love it. Treasure your quit everyone.

I'm here...another week and another year...no smoking!! Good stuff I have a teen and a tween and the tween must have learned alot from the teen. And so it continues to be alot of fun on a daily basis. I just want them to brush their teeth. quit 6/11/01

Hello I'm still around once in awhile. There are times when I am tempted to light up and today was one. I haven't smoked in almost 4 years but still get temptation. Good to see all of you that are here .

hi y'all ... been busy, between kids, grandkids, & 2 great grandkids, wife & being lazy, no time for too much.
\60 years ago in grade school I just knew I'd be living on Mars by now, and here I am, a house husband. I sound like my Mama did, "take off your shoes I just mopped that floor" "close the door you think you live in a barn". Now when my wife gets home I Hear, "what's for supper" and "what ya been doing all day".
quit smoking in 2000, probably saved my life 3 years ago. After 43 years of smoking, when I spent 2 1/2 months in the Hospital, most in ICU, I survived pneumonia. Now I live with COPD & other lung problems, but so far no need for portable oxygen equipment. Just lucky to stop when I did!
Ah, Autumn ... doesn't the fresh air smell good!
