Hi everyone. I forgot to check in the last couple of weeks. Change of routine has thrown me off. Must remember to check in. I suppose it's a good thing in a way because I take being smokefree for granted. I have had a few moments but they are like wisps of smoke...disappearing into the air. I think that is because I am totally committed to being smokefree. I am so grateful I am free from cigarettes. Other than that, just carrying on. Working, living a good clean life. Enjoying watching the transition from summer to fall to winter. It's been a beautiful fall here though we had some stormy weather last week with snow/rain mix. Found a new hair stylist...

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you that grace this site! With all the challenges and setbacks this crazy world brings to us, their are always many things to be thankful for and now is the time to reflect on these things! I am very thankful for keeping the quit and for all the folks that have been a part of Just 4 U, Southbeachfriends, and Smokebusters who have helped me along the way! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends and God Bless you all! Cheers

Thanksgiving in the US. What am I thankful for? Family, friends, smokeless buddies...pause. We choose this path to smokelessness and we encounter people with similar dreams on this road. At the time I never knew that I would think of fellow quitters as friends. This whole Internet thing revolving around the written word, posted for all. Who would have thought that all of this had any real meaning, oh but it did! To which I am very thankful for. I remain cig-free, in part to all that are part of this smokebusters 'family'. Thank you all. I'm left with that final question: what do we do now that we're smokeless? The answer is simple, really, we live smokeless. We adapt to a life where we cope without a cig. We walk without our crutch, limp as we may but forward we march.
Let's go all you smokeless wannabees! Live! Live until our number is called. It isn't our health that is in jeopardy, it's our free will and I choose not to smoke.

Well aren't we waxing eloquent! Forgive me. Canadian. Our Thanksgiving is in October. Well I am thankful too. For my friends on this site. For sharing the wonder of being free of cigarettes. For having such a great neighbor. May we enjoy peace and friendship forever.
