Another week, another week smokeless. Well that smokelessness comes pretty easy for me after so many years. It's not a brag, just an affirmation that Quitting is possible and living one's life without the constant voice/urge to smoke is within reach.
Even with the stresses of life, the excuses that we used to rationalize our need to smoke...gone. Don't get me wrong, stress is still there! Smoking never, ever removed that. In fact, smoking didn't really do a whole lot of helpfulness. Leaves you short on money and short on breath.
Well, enough of that, got to go live my smokeless life!
How you do everyone? Committed to your Quit??

Don.. I will never forget the lies that i told myself when i was smoking. Being in sales...i can sell myself on anything right...like i need to smoke to help me get thru the stressful days, wake me up, or calm me down..and i will always remember the line...I need to smoke to help mylself think. Sheesh....all lies and the nicobeast at his best.
Like you i feel good about not ever smoking again...but I will never forget the transformation to smokelessness!!!
Have a great week all!

checking in a bit late. sorry but my thoughts have been with you all truly. well I have joined the modern era. I have a google phone but i now have a lap top and wifi! i have been downloading all my cds to my ipod. there are three apples in history - Adam and Eve's apple, Isaac Newton's apple and Steve Job's apple. If you take a picture of a crime on you iphone, does that make you an iwitness? he he
i was sooo busy toiday, actually all this week, almost no breaks. Your post Slim reminded me of the early days of my quit when it was unfathomable to envision working without a smoke break. i find my performance has improved almost a hundred percent. i have been transformed. i just cannot say enough about how wonderful it is to be free of cigarettes. i can always tell those who have recently quit who will lapse. they talk like it is a piece of cake and dont need any help...and then there they are outside in the lane again...so glad those days are behind me.
well, sorry for the absence. getting the computer thing set up. I'm glad to say I am up and running now. have a great smokefree weekend everyone.
p.s. it has been 6 years now since i closed the door on smoking. wow.
