I guess since I've been gone no one has picked up the torch or they would have told you that one of the best things anyone of any age can do for pimples is to drink plenty of WATER!!!! You need to flush that crap out of your system. Just watch what it does to your skin!
Get plenty of rest, eat good foods including fresh veggies, take a good multivitamin supplement, exercise and drink lots of plain, good-old-ordinary-H20.
Now, folks, that's water. Not juice, not coffee, not carbonated beverages, but WATER. Just for normal health reasons you should be drinking one ounce of water for every two pounds of body weight DAILY - now, approximately 1/4 of that total can be other beverages, except alcohol.
For folks going through detox the water demands are a bit higher, however, unless you are exercising heavily talk to your doctor before going over the gallon-a-day mark.
Remember too, that many vitamins are water soluble so you want to make sure you take them right as well. A good idea is to take one that has the daily dose divided into two or preferably three (or more) tablets - taking them throughout the day is going to make them available to your body as it needs them. Also, taking them with a meal slows down the digestion of them making them available to your system for a longer period of time.
and so sayeth the WATER WOMAN!

I have been drinking so much water today I am about to float away. Someone told me that because I am using the lozenges that all that water won't help remove the nicotine any faster. I guess that makes sense--what do you guys think?

Elaine, there is a lot more crap in cigs than in the lozenges. True that you are still getting nicotine in your system, but you're not getting all the other carcinogens that are in cigarettes. You are washing all that other stuff out by drinking water. So, drink up - cheers.
