there are many things in my life that i just would like another chance at doing. some i would re-do, others i would not have started. what i sometimes fail to realize is we cannot go back but must look forward. sometimes months ahead, weeks, days, and many times minutes. what i do understand through my 1 year quit is i have enough strength to beat the beast one minute at a time and that minute will pass whether i smoke or not. time will go on and i do not ever have to re-live that moment again. batman rambling?? maybe so. i will try to post more often. thank you cyber friends.

Good to see you Batman. It's really amazing what we learn about ourselves and the world around us when we get rid of the cloud of smoke. See ya soon cyber friend.

We live and hopefully learn along the way Batman....and it's okay to ramble; there doesn't have to be a connection between time spent not smoking and the ability to ramble. Hey, rambling is cool!
Be melancholy....be nostalgic.....be philosophic...be whatever floats your boat.....evolve. Hold your head high, take pride in what you've accomplished. Learn to enjoy your new life and spend that new energy and allow yourself the luxury of being happy rather than a beaten down nicotine addict. No, we cannot change the past....but we can surely make better judgements in the future.
Let's do hear more from you....I love your posts.

"rambling" is just thinking out loud. do it often!!!
We can't go back and "fix" things.....all we can do is to improve who we are every day.
You rule, batman!!!

Congratulations on one year Batman, it's good to see you back here. Ramble on, we've all done it from time to time, some real gems come out of those rambles. There are many things I would have done differently if I had a chance to go back and change my life. In this world we are not given that option so we deal with the here and now.
