;D I'm clocking in with 4 Years, 5 Months, 4 Days, 14 hours, 55 minutes.26 seconds. I haven't smoked 58,270 of those cancer sticks, saved $14,567.00 (where is it?).
I had another skin cancer removed basal cell this time on the side of my face near my ear. About an inch long. So far the cheek (the worse by far), the nose and this. I'll be a prizefighter pretty soon.
But I'm smokeless ;D

I ;D ran around after my grandchild yesterday. Other than that, just hung around. It was nice. I've been on the go so much. I was supposed to go to NYC shopping today, but because of the alerts, I decided another time. I have 4 Years, 4 Months, 2 weeks, 6 days, 9 hours, 30 minutes.

Welcome Richard
I have been on this board for over 4 years now and I haven't picked up a cigarette in 4 Years, 11 months. You can do this. It is doable. You may feel uncomfortable in the beginning, but the end result is so worth it. I was a slave to those things and I fought like hell to get off of them. You can too!! Losts of water, water, water. Post often and welcome.
Mary

Hang in there. Remember no matter what happens do not pick up a cigarette. Drink water for the cravings.

Hello Willpower!
Welcome to the board. I logged on 4 years ago and it was an important tool in the battle to quit. Yes, I mean battle. Initially I fought for every day quit. But day by day it got a little easier. I fought through the depression, weight gain. I still fight but the more I am removed from the cigarette the better I am.
Hang in there. No matter what goes on in your life, do not pick up a cigarette. The benefits are great.
