Good morning everyone. We have rain in northern Ohio but I see a lot of you have snow already. It's coming our way later today and this is not the way to start spring. How are you all coping?

Yep Ann, snow here...Winter just won't give it up. The tulips are giving it their best effort tho'.
Looking forward to that "Pick Me Up" that only Spring can provide.
But at least I don't have any desire to smoke. None. Nil. Nada.

Hello Hello Hello!!!!!
Getagrip here from the old Just4u board.
Been looking for youse. Thinking about Judyb, slim, gracie, Don all you guys. As I am trying again to quit again. I'm workin on day 6 and was looking for all the good old posts, shooting the cow and lightin that bonfire of nicotine patches that used to make me laugh.
How you all doin? I've hit the big 40, and they've upped the sickarette prices again, and my baby is about to turn 8. I'm tired and cold and don't want to slave to these things anymore. I've gone cold turkey, been pretty easy really this first week. Haven't even been weak, until today, just riding those crave waves. But he's been whisperin to me today "why'd you even start this quit" one won't hurt, its been almost a week, just one wouldn't even count, right? right, Ima blow this quit for one ciggie, which I aint even got, so I'd have to go buy pack. not today, nope, N.O.P.E.
So sign in, tell me how its been. I'll be back later...

Good day everyone! It is beautiful out this way. A week ago, we had snow. Amazing isn't it? This sun is to hang around until Thursday, at which time, it is to rain again. Just in time for Easter long weekend. Oh well, I'll take it.
I still find it a marvel that I am no longer hooked on cigarettes though I don't get craves. Wow. It is so wonderful not to smoke those cancer sticks.

Heeerrrrrrs DOT!!!! Gee, they've even got snow up on the mountains here in the south! The daffodils are long past their prime, and we've been up to 80 a few times....now can you believe this??
Hi getagrip! I don't remember if we were here together in the past, but welcome anyway. I was around here for a couple of years back 9 or 10 years ago, then again last year for 14 months. Boy, I blew it big time! So here I am...8 days down. We know how to do this, don't we? I'm using patches, along with gallons of calomine lotion for the big red blotches.

Howdy .... Spring has sprung here in Eastern NC .... sound of lawn mowers abounds as the grass & weeds are growing. Trees are budding, birds singing, and ants invading. Fireplaces not even smoking today.

Dee here. Will have 9 years this month. Time sure flies. Just checkin' in to see how my buddy countryblocks is doing. So proud of you. You made it to a year. Can you believe it? I bet you thought it would never happen. I'm glad it did, and I know you are too. Dot and Getagrip, congratulations on your decision to quit smoking. Keep a positive attitude and just remember that smoking is not an option.
