Are you guys included on the storms hitting the East Coast? How much wind and rain are you expecting? Let us know how you guys are doing.
I do believe Judyb might be in on the one off the Gulf, are you preparing for lots of rain too?

As a matter of fact, I'm sitting here with the windows open....it's clear and an unbelievable 60 degrees here in SE Louisiana this morning. Those storms are well to the east!!!

Nothing like Florida! We'll have flooding from the rains, maybe some trees blown down from wind gusts.
There were tornados on the NC coast yesterday. Killed 3 hurt 25. Tornados come with storms like "charlie"...and they're basically unpredictable.
The coastal areas are very vulnerable. We'll do ok here.

thanks for your concern, Ann, but I'm at the western end of NC, so I'm sure we'll miss even the rain.
Keep your oars handy, jimpops.

Lets see, oars, flashlights, candles, extra water, food that needs no refrigeration, loose objects inside, yeah we're ready as can be.
Did you read where a Ft Meyers man stepped outside during the storm to smoke a cigarette? A Banyan tree fell on him and he was killed! Ironic?

"Charlie" passed away before he got to our place! Not even a gentle breeze here.
Hey, now I can go to the golf course...yea!
