I will jump in that smokefree line! _slim 4 Years 3 Months 4 Weeks 19 Hours 55 Minutes 50 Seconds. Cigarettes not smoked: 47454. Money saved: $9,490.98. Time/Life saved: 10 Mos 3 Wks 4 Days 13 Hrs 9 Mins 7 Secs as a added note for Diamond: I believe everyone has a different time line for when you become comfortable in your quit. Am i right. I see some folks whiz thru here in weeks and others like me are still around after years. I stay now cause i want too....but every now and again it is good to remind myself why one puff is a killer. And this place is comfortable for me. I bet it was around a year or so quit when i had extended times where i didn't think about NOT Smoking and all i had was occasional smoking thoughts. It was worth it to hang tough and keep the quit! NO question!!!

Slim, Yes, you are absolutely right. No question about it. I agree, too, that it's worth it to hang tough and keep the quit. Thoroughly convinced, in fact. A couple of years ago I quit for 14 months. It was that one puff which got me. Had I have hung in there, I wouldn't be on a second quit... Sometimes I have to get beat over the head to get my attention, but ultimately I do get it.
