Just wait until you get older and have all the aches and pains going on in this house hold - old fogies that we are! You get to have all that change and worry but now it's directed towards the grand children.

Just back from my morning walk and checking in to see who is around. Hope everyone had a great mother's day.

We have been having lots of rain and warm weather too. Unfortunately for us that will mean lots of creepy crawlies around the yard and the animals - ugh!!! Looking forward to getting to see my sister in Phoenix and our annual trip to Wisconsin.
Haven't thought about smoking through all this either.

Good morning. Another week of not smoking for us oldies. Seems like life keeps moving forward if you smoke or not so the logical conclusion is don't smoke. Life doesn't seem fair does it? My two neighbors both have lung cancer one never smoked and another quit over 20 years ago. I smoked and yet I have no lung cancer.

Good morning everyone, it's another check in Monday to see who has kept their quits and who needs help getting through another week or just starting their quit.

In my dreams I do wear a bikini but that was a long time ago and far, far, far away! Keeping my quit even though I have a group tearing down my bath and rebuilding it. Stress levels through the roof. No wins in the foot ball pool in this house either.

Dot, I'm so sorry about all your problems. Do you remember what we use to say on the old Just4U board? Never quit quitting. One of these days it will stick, you just have to keep at it. After all these years I still think about smoking and I know just one slip and I'll be right back at it. The only thing I know for sure is that I won't ever see my granddaughters if I started smoking. If it wasn't for them I don't know if I could keep my quit so long. My DIL and her mother are so very against smoking, so I keep my quit. Never doubt that it is just as hard for the rest of us to keep our quits as it is for you to start your quit. Just keep quitting and never give up.

Guilty, I'm trying to coordinate redoing the kitchen and down stairs bathroom while Christmas shopping and planning the Christmas Eve dinner. I'm out of time and steam right now but still smoke free.

Don I'm so sorry to hear your daughter is hurt. Our children are our lives and when something happens to them we want to take all that pain into ourselves and suffer it for them. I do hope that everything turns out well for her and she is up and walking SOON. I do hear that little voice in the back of my head every so often, especially in times of high stress. Even after all these years it still gets to me. Don't drop your guard.

Just got back from vacation and am so sorry to hear this. She was always there for me with a shoulder to lean on.
