;D Still here and still smoke free. I have been off since the 14th of July and go back on July 28. Vacation and scheduled days off. Beautiful weather other then too many hot days in a row. Need rain now.
Don, I am so sorry for all you have been going through. It sure has been a rough time for you. Prayers coming.
Flo, thank you for the congrats. The weight issue has been an issue off and on all my life. I am down 23 pounds now which puts me at 196. More to come but I did not put it on overnight and won't take it off that way. I exercise a lot and burn off a lot of the calories I eat but not to the point of starvation mode by any stretch of the imagination. The site I am on even warns you if they think you are eating too few calories LOL.
Judy, congrats on your 14 years. That is truly awesome!
Ann and Slim. Always good to see you on here!
The summer is going way too fast. I cannot believe my son starts his senior year in high school this year. This is met with excitement and a little bit of sadness on my part, but anyone who has kids goes through it so I know I am not alone.
See you all later and thanks for all you do!
Karen

P.S. Don I will say some prayers for both your kids and you. When it rains, it pours for sure.

I am not here often as I should be, if nothing else to support the person who is starting their quit as you all did with mine. For that, I am sorry. Sometimes life just gets busy but that is really no excuse for me. I always made the time to smoke, so I should always make the time to help someone in their quit. I am very happy, though, that this site is still here. I go here and Quitnet and even my Quitnet group has shrunk down a bit so maybe it is just people getting on with their smoke free lives. I will be 30 years sober this coming April and I just got back into going to A.A. meetings this past September. I guess it proves that no matter how long you are quit with your addiction, you still need support. I always want to pay it forward!
Extremely happy to be smoke free today and every day.
Thanks for always being here even when the numbers of the group dwindle.

I will take snow at Christmas time and then it can go away. I do however like winter a bit more since I started ice skating again last winter. One of a few things I do well since I quit smoking!!!!!!!!!!!
