There's an electronic gadget for every purpose now, huh? Maybe they can improve on this one, where it will just smoke real ones for us. I always wish we could make nicotine extract, to use in coffee or brownies. Hmmm. I wonder if I could make tobacco brownies? Do people still do that with pot? I just like the smell of tobacco. It's only the smoke that stinks!

Heeerrrrrrs DOT!!!! Gee, they've even got snow up on the mountains here in the south! The daffodils are long past their prime, and we've been up to 80 a few times....now can you believe this??
Hi getagrip! I don't remember if we were here together in the past, but welcome anyway. I was around here for a couple of years back 9 or 10 years ago, then again last year for 14 months. Boy, I blew it big time! So here I am...8 days down. We know how to do this, don't we? I'm using patches, along with gallons of calomine lotion for the big red blotches.

Good to see you still posting now and then. I hope you're doing ok with all the storms down your way.
I've had such a struggle the past few months, but doing ok for the time being. Jeeze, you'd think I'd have all the answers after so many years! I always liked the roadkill posts, and of course bubb's also.
Just wish there were a few more newbies coming along.

OK....didn't quite hang on to the wagon earlier this month...it was going too fast for me to get a grip. But here I am now with 3 days behind me. I'm embarresed to post, but I guess there's no use hiding.
At this time I'm doing ok. I"m at the "terribly restless" stage right now....just jumping from place to place and task to task. Then I find myself rushing through things, and doing a half-a**ed job.
I"m doing the patches again....they do seem to work pretty good for me, except that I"m allergic to the glue. It's a big choice, where do I want the next red, itchy blotch!
OK...enough for this morning. Dot

thanks, everybody. Unfortunately, I'm still smoking 5 or so every day, so maybe I'll get the fortitude to give those up soon. I don't understand WHY it's so difficult this time....it wasn't near so hard when I quit a couple years ago. Being stuck in the house doesn't help. We have had some spring weather, and I was able to work in the yard a little, but now it's days and days of rain.....so hard to keep busy! I can go 3 or 4 days with no problem, then go buy a pack and start over again.
Please don't give up on me. JP, I remember how many times you started and stopped, and it looks like you finally got the hang of it this time. You are an inspiration! As are you all!

The patch is on again, although I still smoked two today. Guess that's better than two packs tho, so I"m hopeful that tomorrow will be better. Finally some of the awful stressors are quietly buried. Now I just have to finish the memorial service. Hope all of you will hold my hand, as you did in the past. I can't do this alone. Love to all, Dot

What a great picture of the children! They are growing up so fast, seems like just yesterday that you were "expecting" and we were all here cheering you on!
Merry Christmas to you and yours. Dot

I"m here, sort of......
It's been a very stressful time for my family lately, but we survive.
Going to finish shopping tomorrow. I've always done Christmas eve buffet for my kids, grands, and greatgrands, so that's probably going to be the deal. My oldest son has pretty much taken over the "Big" family things.....Bless his heart!
