countryblocks has also quit while her hubby still smokes. I give her much, much credit for quitting. I had to wait until I was sure my husband was not going to smoke anymore before I could quit. Kudos to you Dot. You are a superstar in my mind.

We can be tempted even after many years smoke free. Today I was at the petstore with my daughter in law and when I first walked in the door I could smell cigarette smoke that usually repels me. Today, for some strange reason it attracted me and I thought I'd love to smoke just one. HA! We all know where THAT leads. As soon as I got past the smell the thought also left my mind and I forgot about it until just now when I read your post. Don't smoke. You'll so hate yourself for giving in. You can get by without those death sentences hanging around. Keep on keepin' on. SMOKING STINKS AND IS NOT AN OPTION!

Don, sorry about your friend, Cheyenne. It's so hard when that time comes, and yet, we know the day we bring our puppy home that that day will be there all too soon. I've been there more times than I care to remember and your loss makes mine fresh and new again. I too am sad, for you, for Cheyenne and for all the pets I have lost. Hugs and prayers to you my friend. Dee 4/24/00

Dot, congratulations on a fight well won! It's so good to see you quit this horrible addiction. I'm very proud of you too. You may not even remember me, but I think you were here when I started on my journey, or at least during the time I was here. Continued success and good health to you. Dee

Okay!, Today is a new day. I'm going to try a little harder than I have been. I did loose half a pound this week, but probably put it back on yesterday.
New day, new resolve.
HIP, HIP, HOORAY!!

CONGRATS, MK
You are awesome. I remember when we first quit smoking and you started hitting the gym how well you did. I am so happy for you. I need to try harder!

I don't think I'll be snacking at all tonight. We had a late supper, and then I drank 2 cups of coffee. No, I won't be needing any snacks. I just won't SLEEP tonight is all!
