3 of my great-granddaughters have been around this summer. It's nice to be able to say "I quit"!

I'm not sure where Grand Haven is, but I've spent time in the Glen Arbor/Glen Haven area. My very dear friend was finally evicted from her home in Glen Haven, about a year ago, just about 1/2 block from the Coast Guard Station. She fought the federal government for 30+ years, when the feds took over the Sleeping Bear Dunes area. I think she made the news all over the Michigan area. It is soooo beautiful up there!

You all look great with your tans and burns! Spent the weekend with nephew and his wife. We had a good time, and saw nice fireworks. She's a smoker tho, so I did have my moments.......... Dot d 99

Red for my color, and giraffe for my animal. Of course I love them all, but kinda hate to see them in zoos. NC has a lovely zoo....very natural, with acres for animals to roam. Trouble is, some days they are so far away you can't see them without binoculars!

I"m here too. We finally had 3 days without rain. But at least no drought so far this year. Pops, did you get the flooding down your way? Guess Raleigh really caught some lots and lots of water.

Hey Pat...you've got my prayers and my sympathy. We went through the same thing with my father-in-law a number of years ago. Unfortunately, he didn't cooperate with the doctors, and eventually lost his leg and his life. Hope fully, once she recovers a bit more, her meds can be adjusted and her mind will improve.
Good luck with the hyper pup!!
(((((hugs)))) Dot
